Typical guy behavior. Mine is the same way although with just a few weeks away he’s starting to get excited about things.
Just plug away and organize the wedding stuff yourself, it’s better the less they are involved but check in with him from time to time for certain things, like seating chart and reception menu, etc.

I’ve been feeling the same way. So far I’ve booked the venue and picked out the date and am going to look at dresses. I have an idea about the flowers and BM’s dresses/colors….ect. and food. He just keeps telling me whatever you want. It’s frustrating but I’m hoping he will help out or at least book the honeymoon.

Mine is pretty involved in the process. The stuff he doesn’t care about, I made him promise to act interested and go along with what I think. He’s such a sweetheart — he’ll catch himself saying, “I don’t care”, and then switch to, “I mean, YES! That’s a great idea!” heehee.

Thanks ladies! It’s nice knowing that I’m not alone. I wish he was more involved, but I guess at the same time it’s nice to be able to plan the wedding that I’ve always wanted. We all know little girls dream (well, you get it) about their weddings and grow up with Disney…then we all get this idea planted of what we wanted.
Fiance already told me that he wouldn’t care if we went to the courthouse and were wearing potato sacks, as long as he gets to marry me in the end. It’s sweet, but GAH! You have an opinion, so give it to me. 😛
