It doesn’t bother me, but some people are superstitious about it.

I mean… I don’t let people try on MY ring… haha. But I don’t think it’s bad luck to try on someone else’s ring. 🙂 I’m just super possesive!

No I let my friend try mine on.  It didn’t bother me.  I didn’t even know this was a thing until reading about it on weddingbee.

I’ve tried on my grandmother’s but I wouldn’t think about trying on anyone else’s. it just seems sacred to me.

If someone I knew wanted to try on my ring, power to them.  But I personally would never want to try on someone elses ring…whats the point really?

I don’t mind.  I’ve had people try on both my engagement ring and my wedding band.

I don’t want people to try on my ring but it’s not because I’m superstitious, I just don’t like it.

It doesn’t bother me. My ring is also size 3.75 so most can barely get it down past their first knuckle. LOL

A friend asked to try mine on, and I let her. It was no big deal at all. If it was someone I didn’t know asking to try it on, I’d say no, but friends and family it doesn’t matter.

My friend asked to try on my ring for sizing purposes.  She wanted to see if my ring size was the same as hers.  I had a little bit of superstition in the back of my mind, but who was I to say no to my friend?

This was the only incident.  I felt a little weird about it, I guess.!  I’d definitely feel really weird if it were a stranger or acquaintance.

I haven’t had anyone ask to try on my rings, but I don’t think I’d let them. I just don’t want them to…haha

@kjo:  I agree! I never asked to try one anyone’s but I had a friend ask to try mine on. I’m not superstitious so I let her, but it kind of bugged me.
