I am always on pinterest looking at photography shots that i want at the wedding. Then when i pin them i will look at them over and over again.

I also am always thinking about the wedding and coming up with more and more stuff i want to DIY. I spend way too much time at craft stores.

Honestly for me it has been anything to do with dresses… Bridesmaid dresses (though i have already picked them), flower girl dresses, rehersal dresses… MY dress! I cant stop myself from looking, but then… at least the wedding dress part, i have ALWAYS been a bit obsessed over… like making my poor Fiance watch Say Yes to the Dress with me obsessed!

I spend an OBSCENE amount of time on Pinterest (I have 6 seperate wedding boards to ‘keep myself organized’) I also buy wedding magazines even though I have a dress already…I cannot stop lol. And of course all my time on the bee. It’s amazing that I get any work done at all!

I threw away our marriage license, apparently. I was too focused on cleaning out the wedding binder and tossed a bunch of (really important) stuff on accident.

We’re off to the courthouse now to hope they have mercy on us and give us a copy for free instead of another $60…

Yes, it is actually pretty hilarious, I’m not even upset. I’m just glad I realized it in enough time to get a new one, since Chicago has a 24 hour waiting period until the license becomes valid!

I ordered 600 yards of ribbon…instead of 600 feet. Of which I only needed like 300 feet. Needless to say, I’m still swimming in ribbon 2 months after my wedding!!

I did obsess over shoes for at least 6 months…and ended up with two pairs.

Mine wasn’t so much obsessing about wedding stuff as I couldn’t remember anything.  I left my car parked in the roundabout in front of my apartment with the flashers on all night the weekend before my wedding.  Completely forgot until I took the trash out the next morning and thought, “hey, that looks like my car!  Oh crap…” Yeah, battery was dead.

I keep buying Wedding Planning Calendars.  I’m so afraid I’m not going to be organized or forget something vital (I have recurring nightmares that on the day of my wedding I realize I forgot to buy/send out invitations and no one is going to be there). So I have literally 3 Wedding Planner Binders with the Calendars and timelines included.  I have no idea what I think one book is going to have that the others don’t or tell me a different timeline than the previous.

I spend about 30 hours a week online looking up wedding things. When I’m not looking them up I’m working on DIY projects. My Fiance has often said “You go to sleep talking about the wedding and first thing that comes out of your mouth in the morning is wedding related.” I fall asleep thinking about the wedding.

But we are on a tight (as in $5,000) budget and less than 5 months till the wedding and due to medical reasons the first 5 months of the engagement not much got done in the way of wedding planning.

@RexManningDay:  Well I do both of those things as well. Have I found the perfect lipstick and eyeshadow shades from looking at swatches online? No. Do I still do it almost daily. Yes. Also I obsess about bridesmaid dresses. We’re going to start looking in January and sometimes it makes me sick to my stomach. I have only 2 bridesmaids that are about the same height and build so in my mind there is NO reason that I shouldn’t be able to find the most beautiful perfect dress for them to wear, but every time I think I find one I love, I start seeing worst case scenarios of them hating it, or when it comes in it’s not at all what I thought and they hate me for picking such a terrible dress. Crazy pants over here…

I get on weddingbee kicks!!!! Sometimes I’ll hardly look at it over a week, other times I’ll be on here for a couple hours a day for a week!!!! (like this week)

Right now though, I want to go register SO BADLY. I’m kind of at that awkward wedding planning stage: I have the big things done (venue, photographer, my dress being worked on, bridal party, etc) but it’s a little early to do some of the other things (STD’s, narrow down menu, etc.) and I feel like I want to go do SOMETHING. And register it is. Kohls!!!

My Fiance and I are trying to figure out a time to go this week, but our schedules are so weird. He goes to classes during the day, and I work from early afternoon – night. The one night I have off this week, he has pool league. I mean, just because Kohls is open until midnight until Christmas, doesn’t mean we need to be there at 10/11pm! Right? Or wait… it will be really quiet and peaceful!!!!! 😛

ANY glass container (vase, jar, liquor/beer bottles, etc.) is a potential centerpiece for me
