id leave her some food and water outside and just leave her out for the night. she might be wandering around if shes an outside cat and will go home later. make a decision after you contact the number for the city… keep us updated!

keep her and call the number when its open and if you and Fiance want her then keep her and love her. I think we have enough anilmal running loose. So if you can keep her and give her some good old TLC

I agree with ruby.cosmo.  Bring her in!  Keep her separated from the other animals if you have them, though.  She might have fleas or diseases.

Keep us updated, and I hope you find her owner!

I hope you can find her owner. I would be so sad if one of my kitties was lost. If she can’t find her way home I hope you can hold onto her until the shelter is open.

@Cash000:  It happens when animals get outside.  Unless she’s got an awful infestation, which doesn’t sound likely because you didn’t mention that she looks dirty or sick or anything, it almost certainly won’t mean bad news for you.  If you’re really worried about it, just keep her out of carpeted areas and wash whatever towels or blankets you give her for bedding really well when she’s gone.  I’ve taken care of dozens of stray kitties in my time, and I have yet to be bitten by a flea.  🙂

I think you should keep her until you can call the City and they contact her owners. You will feel a lot better knowing that she is safe and that you’re helping her get back home vs putting her back outside and wondering all night if she found her way back or got hit by a car. I’m so glad there are people like you out there that care – karma, baby, karma!
