(Closed) A ceremony with no programs?

Eh, not a big deal. The only reason we even had them was to use a Vistaprint deal that was about to expire! It’s a wedding, people know the gist of what’s going on. 🙂 If it’s going to cause a lot of stress so close to the wedding, just skip ’em.

I don’t know the answer to this but I’m wondering the same thing whether programs are really necessary. I was going to make some but Fiance thinks they’re silly and I quote: “not worth killing trees over”. =P

We’re thinking of leaving out the program too…..as miss peanut says most people will know whats going on 🙂 a lot of people i know who got married recently left it out so i guess its not a big deal

I would say if you are doing a Catholic ceremony that most guests will be familiar with than you can skip the programs.  If you are having a Greek ceremony where it is entirely in Greek and there are different customs that guests will not understand than you NEED programs.  A Greek wedding we went to had none!  Had no clue what was going on.
