Someone needs to get that poor dog to the vet. Loose stools for an extended period of time is NOT GOOD. I’m not saying it’s your responsibility (it’s not) but I’d probably say something to the CEO (actually, there are several things I’d say).

Sorry you’re having to go through this … but seriously, that POOR DOG!

What an ass! (And I agree, poor puppy and poor you!) I’d be leaving that jerk of a boss a ‘special present’ under his desk before I left. Grrrr.

Ugh. Some people.

So sorry you have to deal with this. Tell him to get that dog to a vet!

When I was younger I worked in two offices where I had to baby sit my bosses dog. I don’t think it’s that unusual actually, maybe inconsiderate, but definitely not the first time I have heard of this! Hopefully poor poopey-pants is feeling better tomorrow. Sorry I don’t have more encouraging words other than the fact that your next job will seem like a breeze after this 😉

If he’s in the conference room, put the poor pup in his office. Then call up ex-wife, I’m sure she’s in his contacts, and tell her that her dog is sick so she can get him help.

My CEO is an ass but if he tried that crap with me I’d tell him I wasn’t feeling well and needed the day off.

I’d rather hang out with a dog (even a sick dog) than work. But I can definitely see how it’s gross! He should take the dog to the vet. I think this guy is a jerk for expecting you to do this.

What were you hired to do? If you are anything other than his personal assistant, this is pretty unprofessional and sort of degrading.

Oh that is terrible! I was going to say “call your temp agency!” and I’m glad you did. That poor dog… and poor you! He should have dropped the dog off at a vet or urgent care place for pets, he’s CEO, I’m sure he can frickin afford it.
