I’ve never seen a pastel blue wedding dress.  The dresses you posted are beautiful.

Who told you that and why would you care? lol I’d buy and wear what I wanted no matter what someone else told me. Use a fake tan to give you some color and you can wear anything, I think. Bare Minerals makes a great one!

@secondchances:  Years ago, I remember reading in the Color Me Beautiful books that women who are considered “winters,” i.e. those who best wore jewel tones, also are able to wear “icy” tones.  According to the books, instead of a medium-toned, soft, pastel color, the icy tones are just a light tint of a color.  Perhaps you would look great in an icy blue or icy pink?

I wanted Maggie Sottero’s Saige Dress SO BAD I COULDN’T STAND IT.

But, the a-line, traditional style of dress didn’t look good on my body, no matter what dress it was.  I never did get to try on the dress and I’ve never seen it on a bride, but I wish I could.

The only style that really flattered me was mermaid and that’s what I got.  I LOVE my dress and wouldn’t change it for the world, but I really would have love for that dress to look good.  Oh well..
