@SoonToBeeMrsD: THats beautiful 🙂

Have you seen the book All Cats Have Aspergers Syndrome?  Its adorable and so well put together…and the child that i help at my school absolutely devoured it – i lent it to her back in January and she kept asking me if she could keep it one more week – in the end last week I bought her her own copy as its become something of a security blanket for her.  CHeck it out if you haven’t already!

Aww this melted my heart. 🙂 I have a severly autistic older sister, and she is the strongest, most amazing person i have encountered in my entire life. She’s funny, kind, caring, extremely confident (due to the stares and comments she has to deal with on a daily basis). I just don’t think i could be happy if i had autism or any other impairment, and my sister is the happiest person, she just radiates joy, as soon as i see her i start to smile!!! And i feel like almost every single person that has to live their life with mental illnesses, diseases, or physical impairements are generally the happiest and kindest people. It’s hard to not be happy knowing someone else who has less than you can be.
