Directional Sign, of course I have a few just like this, gotta go to reception site to see how to place them!

ring bearer pillow

Groom’s boutonniere

Groom’s and groomsmen boutonnieres

Fabric bridal bouquet

Program, there is a word puzzle inside!

Paperflowers I am STILL making!

Oh and you should look at this site for the initials or names:

I just did all my Bridesmaid or Best Man names on mason jars and love how they turned out!

@mypinkshoes: I kid you not, everyday after work is making flowers and sewing things, I even brought my supplies to work and started working during lunch! I like it though, I went to art school and pretty much since I graduated in 2004 haven’t done much except a few paintings, so it gives me some room to be creative!

@txlolo: Thanks for the tip! and for the directional sign, they have those arrow signs at wal mart in the craft section. I got two paints, one is a mushroom and one is vintage white, primed the wooden arrow, painted the mushroom let it dried, put a weathercrackle glaze let it dried, then the antique white and there you have it! It’s super easy. All the supplies can be found at a craft store in the craft paint section.

those fabric flowers are amazing! I’m making a fabric bouquet too but yours are way nicer!
How did you attach the stems? I bought floral wire but I think it’ll look messy if I try to hot glue them to the back of the flower. I’m not sure what else to try. thanks 🙂

@peanutbutter1205: For my fabric bouquet, I just took a cheap white floral holder from the craft store, wrapped a half styrofoam ball with white fabric, hot glued it to the holder to the holder. Made my flowers from assorted fabrics I bought on sale. I got fabrics I could burn the edges to wilt, sewed the layers and glued a button or jewel then pinned it to the ball, when I had everything right I hot glued into place! For the holder I put a dowel rod through it and wrapped twine around it.

@Hiya_Unicorn: ahhh thanks I hadn’t thought of gluing to a styrofoam ball. I’m just not sure how to get the shape right but I’ll try that.

@peanutbutter1205: you will get it! I seen a tutorial on using floral wire but it seemed too complicated for me, haha so I improvised.
