We will be having children at our wedding, pretty much of every age, (newborn, 1, 2, 5, 7, 12, 15…). Pretty much all of them are boys. Do you suggest having any “activity/coloring” book for each child (obviously not the older ones)? Did you just put them on the kids table? The younger ones (a few 2 year olds) will be sitting with their parents- do I just leave a random coloring book on that table? I can’t remember for sure, but I think my venue has kids meals for kids ages 4-12… So for the 2 year olds, I don’t need to provide any seat, right? They just sit with their parents?

I’m not sure about all your questions, but I think I can help with how to distribute the coloring books! At my friend’s wedding, I was a bridesmaid and was in charge of giving out the coloring books. My Fiance (then boyfriend) went out the car after the ceremony and got the coloring books, and then I handed them out to the parents with kids. Most of them were already sitting down, but some were still wandering around with their kids, so they just held onto the book until they sat down. You can ask a bridal party member or a good friend to hand out the coloring books.

@Monkey786: For a two year old I would have a seat available so they ould pull a highchair up or use a booster. by age two they can be kind of heavy to hand back and forth all night. For our wedding we just had a basket ner the guest book with coloring books, little packs of crayone, and little table games with a cute sign to grab something for the kids to play with.

We went to the dollar tree store and bought a few of those glow in the bracelets for the kids. We put a few on each kid table (about 2 per child) and they had a blast. It kept them quiet and it wasn’t too in the way.
