I think there are some ladies here who have done this.  I can’t recall who right now.  I love that wedding band you posted.

I feel like some color combos would be beautiful. And others might be really strange.

I think it is one of those things that can definitely be done and CAN be beautiful but its just harder to get it to look right so a lot of people probably wouldn’t bother to find the RIGHT combination. Reminds me of Rebecca Romijn though… I have always loved her wedding set.

@mylittleviolett:  I know you asked asscherlover about what would look strange but i thought I’d answer too lol.

I think first you need to make sure that the style of the rings go together regardless of stones. Like if they were all the same— would they go really well? That is the first step. Then… I kind of think that if you’re going to have 2 colors you should maybe have 3. I could totally be proven wrong if I saw two different colored stones together and liked it. But when I think of it— it is sort of like decorating. Putting just two together kind of seems like they don’t match and you didn’t notice. Putting three+ together seems like it was intentional (like rebecca with her yellow, blue, pink, and clear)

I think it depends on the colours togther.  They have to match in tone,  but not be identical…but not clash.  So, a violet with a purply blue could work, whereas a violet with a greeny blue may not.  KWIM?

I am a fan of all colours and there for am a fan of all colours in a band also. Have you seen the ‘rainbow’ channel set bands? These are obviously not mine, but I think they are lovely

@mylittleviolett:  I think I would go with a thinner one than what you posted you.  🙂  I wouldn’t want compete with the ering, but more just compliment it with another shade of blue.  I think  that it could be really lovely!
