I’m with the other bees who say this is odd. I’m a waiting bee, and I’m all for women proposing to men, but this isn’t really proposing to him, from what I understand. It’s basically just another way to bug him into proposing. But since he said he wouldn’t mind a proposal, maybe he’ll see it as a proposal (I hope he does).

I am curious to see how this went, though. Hopefully well! Would love an update!

@MissBettsy:  Haters, gonna hate but guess what?  Its the 21st century and a woman no longer needs to wait around, because she is an EQUAL PARTNER in the relationship.  More power to you!  I wanted to propose to my Fiance but he insisted on doing it himself (he is a bit superstious and traditional).  You will have an awesome unique proposal story to tell, all the haters on this page are just jealous 😉

@Mrs.babycat:  when did disagreeing become ‘hating’? lol. whats there to be jealous of? no jealousy here. i wish the OP the best of luck.

@NickiBee:  lol yeah I don’t get that either.

I think OP’s idea can be very sweet and I think it will be well received because he said he’d be happy if she proposed. there is a bit of potential that he might see it as a way of forcing his hand in terms of getting him to propose though since she’s not actually going to ask  but OP knows her man, we don’t. I hope to see a very happy update and I think the personal touches are super endearing.

@NickiBee:  LOL havent you heard? ANYtime you disagree with someone anymore, it automatically makes you jealous or a hater. I have a friend whose boyfriend beat her ass and smashed her head off of her windshield a couple of months ago. I told her she needs to tell him to kick rocks, and, guess what? She and her friends told me I’m a “jealous hater.” Who knew?

@nearlymarriedlass:  LOL girl you’re telling me! I’d listened to this girl tell me from the FIRST DATE he freaked her out…how he’s hit her and pulled weapons on her…but that little “jealous hater” comment literally made me laugh my ass off: absolutely, I am 110% jealous of your life where you are constantly broke, have no education or career aspirations, AND have a dude that beats the hell out of you. SMH.

OP, any updates?

@badabing88:  that poor girl. its not jealousy, its more pity. thats so sad. i feel sorry for her – she must have the lowest self esteem and self worth. heart breaking! just another statistic. ah well u tried! all u can do!

@NickiBee:  There is nothing to “disagree” with.  Nowhere in her orginal post did the OP ask for your input or advice.  You gave your unsolicted opinion on something that the OP has clearly already made up her mind about.  The only thing your comment could possibly do is bring her down.  That, in my book = hating

@Mrs.babycat:  Well, if you want to get technical, she did say “so, what do you gals think?” She opened herself to opinions right from the start.
