It will show up on your registry as 0 requested 1 purchased. I have a few things like that.

I had one like that, too.  0 requested, 1 purchased.

Since it was sent to your home store I am guessing it isnt a mistake, but when ppl buy things to take and wrap, some stores will put on your registy things they bought for themselves in the same transaction. I had a baby registry, and it told me I had 0 requested, 1 recieved digital camera from my Future Sister-In-Law… got all excited, ended up being HER new camera.. lol… Did give me the idea to buy one for myself though!

This happened to me too. The gift wasn’t added to my online registry, but I got a card from the registry department saying “John and Jane Doe have purchased X number of coffee mugs in your china pattern and they will be shipped to your home store for pickup.”

They probably just decided to buy it through the registry people to make it easier to ship and track along with your other gifts.

This happened to us, but I think what happened is that when someone bought us something off our registry, they also bought the other item, and since they were purchased at the same time it somehow got added onto our registry. We never received said items (this was around the time of our engagement party) and have since taken them off of the registry so as not to be confused.

We received some items that our registry listed as 0 requested 1 purchased. Usually these items were bought along with a gift from the registry. If you don’t want them showing up on your physical registry, you can delete them. But I let them stay. 🙂

@yellowlace: EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO US. I was confused at first why someone would buy us lawn chairs, lol.

This happened to me, too.  The added items were things that people purchased for me, in the same transaction as registry items.
