Beautiful!

I look at things online, but haven’t made any other solid plans.

I love this venue: http://www.moondance.co.nz but am too scared to enquire just in case it is super expensive! There aren’t alot of wedding locations in my area that haven’t been used by everyone and their Aunt Llillian already, so I hope this one will work out!

It opens for public visits soon, so ma trying to figure out how to get manfriend there so I can “fall in love with it” in front of him! 😉

@mrssoontobeh:  Beautiful place!! Your not alone! I have a folder on my computer ( Dont judge haha ) filled with things wedding related already. I’m a big planner, and since we are going to have short engagement I have alot of things I know I like and don’t like so when he finally puts a ring on it, it will be some what easier lol.

P.s the only thing I havent done is call places, I’m to nervous to. But I have looked up prices / reveiws every thing else online haha

I did.  I few different times.  However, now that I’m actually planning something a lot of things have changed from what I initially envisioned a year ago.

Well, my father, who seems to be as impatient as I am, has suggested the local Police Lodge as a reception spot lol. He is an officer, and we get a HUGE discount on space rental (like $250), and there’s a dancefloor and they allow alcohol and you get to pick your caterer which is nice since a lot of places only allow you to use the in-house caterere (and then SURPRISE oh yeah its $30 a plate).

We are definitely the type to have a strict budget for the wedding and be completely frivolous with honeymoon spending 🙂 So it’s all great with me!

NEXT BIG CHALLENGE: Finding a reasonably priced, indoor, non-religious ceremony location! We have a chapel at my University that I also recieve a discount on, and which requires you to choose your own officiant, but this location is about 20-25 minutes away from the reception location…. and from that point, I’m a little lost!

I think its great to look into things… I mostly do it for budgeting purposes 🙂

That venue is GORGEOUS by the way!

@mrssoontobeh:  I have planned soo much but am no where near an engagment which halts me after a bit lol. I want to buy magazines, book appts, do things. Damn man with his car dreams, etc. He just paid my mother off $3100 FOR hAWAII in Dec so I feel less guily about looking at 0.5ct Canadian dismond engagment ring for $2500 lol

We’ve actually discussed things together as in ceremony (leaning towards courthouse) and honeymoon… I’ve found things online such as shoes, dresses, I keep those to myself!
