Even great value pasta sauce.
Seriously! I usually make my own sauce but I had a big bottle of the jarred stuff hanging around. Poured it in the crockpot, poured a half glass of white zin in the bottle and shook it up. A few spices, some caramelized onion.
I’ve impressed myself and even had time to make meatballs.

My mom would agree with you 100%!! She loves wine and cooks with it all the time! She also loves to drink it! She says everything is better with wine.

I just added wine to my pasta sauce tonight…mm mm it makes everything better is right!
Also, I had a stressful day so a glass of red wine also accompanied dinner! I feel much better now! 🙂

Yum! I just recently learned about adding wine to pasta sauce…don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner! I always save our “turned” wine (i.e. if we didn’t finish a bottle, and it started to taste a bit vinagar-y) & use that. I hate to waste good wine, and it’s similar to using “red wine vinegar” lol.
