Hi! What do you consider affordable! It’s different for everyone! What’s your budget for a photog?

Hmmm… that’s a super tight budget. How many hours were you wanting? Edited photos? I think if you want an “average” time frame (6-8 hours) and edited photos, you’d honestly have to get someone with a teeny tiny portfolio who is just starting out. Or you’d have ti increase your budget, substantially.

I think it could definitely be done.  You just need to take a lot of time and do a lot of research.  Contact local university photography programs and ask if there are students looking to build their portfolios.  You’ll probably also need to negotiate to just get the hi res CD and no prints.  Then just get your own prints from online services and make your own album.  Another option may be to just have a great photog for the getting ready, ceremony, and formals.  Then just rely on friends/family for reception photos.
