So sorry OP, it is such a loss, such a loss. This advice a pp a gave is so good ‘don’t let anyone make you feel like you’ve grieved long enough and need to move on ‘. And annreid too is so right , your  mum wil be  always with you , and often not in a grieving way in time.

If you and your father shed tears for her on your wedding day , that is right and proper and  no less than her due, but it will not be the whole of the wedding experience.

I lost my father about a month before my wedding. While it was hard to find the excitement and energy needed to finalizing everything, I was a very happy bride on my wedding day and am grateful that we went ahead with our plans. Grief has certainly overshadowed many events and holidays this year, but my wedding still managed to just be a beautiful day. 

Wishing you peace during such a difficult time.
