Since we’re paying for the wedding ourselves and we have a very small budget, we haven’t even determined whether we’ll be able to afford a honeymoon. But we decided, if we can manage to go away for a few days, we’ll probably just revisit a beautiful B&B we stayed at in Vermont a few years ago. There isn’t a lot to do in the area, so we would just get to relax and enjoy each other’s company. I’m hoping if we can save enough, we might be able to have the awesome European honeymoon experience I’ve always dreamed of for our anniversary.

We’re going to Savannah from Charleston for about four nights.  We’re mainly going to sightsee and just take a couple of tours while we’re there while enjoying good food.  We also hope to take a bigger trip on our anniversary, maybe to Greece.

We are either renting a cabin or a vacation home in New England for our honeymoon. We had originally planned to travel to Europe, but summer responsibilities won’t allow for us to take a trip right now and I certainly don’t want to wait another year to marry. Perhaps we’ll be able to take that trip for an anniversary.

I should add that we’ve planned to camp for a night or two so we could rock climb a few days while we’re there…very excited about that!

@Mrs.Williams: We actually found a hotel there that has ocean views and isn’t expensive but it’s the airfare that’s killing us.
