How about working in some yellow and pink with the green?  Silver would look nice too for a shimmery, metallic touch!

I love the look you’re going for!  I’m sure it will be stunning!

I would think that shades of apple from deep dark red to soft pink, green, and yellow would be lovely.  (Apples range in color so you could really have a lovely set of shades.)

Think of using 3 or 4 colors rather than just 2. I think that is where you are getting hung up.

I would use quite a few colors. You could do more fall, apple-y colors like red, yellow, and green. By the way, these invites would be to die for:
