Fiance wants a plain band, he really isn’t one to wear rings so just getting him to wear a wedding band is a big deal.  I don’t think they have to match your wedding band.  Ours will not.

@Grixis857:  My rings will not match his. We each have our own styles. I’ve seen some couples that do match their rings, though. I’m not sure what the norm is. It might make an interesting poll!

@Grixis857:  All the “older” people I know (parents and what not) have matching wedding bands but I don’t think its such a requirement any more… I sort of wanted my FI’s band to match mine but he refused to wear gold, so now he has a super thick tungsten band and I have a super thin rose gold engraved band. I actually think it’ll make for cooler pictures cause they don’t match at ALL!

@Grixis857:  This doesnt really answer your question, just wanted to chime in that I totally hate tungsten too. I think his band is ugly as hell. I would have gladly spent the money on a gold one, but he was having none of it lol.

I’ll try looking around some more though for ideas.

We’re probably on two completely different price levels, but check this out:

All Celtic rings, lots of color going on, and I ordered by band from them and I was fairly pleased (they had good customer service, the rose gold is more coppery looking than the pics suggest, but overall I love my ring)
