So not only have i had venue regret (i changed my venue) entire wedding regret (i pretty much changed every single thing) i now have dress regret something i was certain i couldn’t get, it’s a good job i have a year and 5 months left.
This is my dress:
And this is the dress thats giving me regret:
imagine it with a red sash tied in a big bow on the hip and a red petticoat.
I had originally wanted a red or a tea length dress but it was winter and the shops where i live didn’t really have any in stock coz apparently people had only really asked for them in the summer months, and then i tried on the alfred angelo and i loved it.
But i can’t get the tea length dress out of my head, my dress is being paid for and wont be on order til october so should i just try one on before i commit to the alfred.
And if any of you bees have worn or are wearing a tea length do you stil feel bridal.

@nearly-mrs-R: Wow, your dress is AMAZING! I absolutely love Alfredo Angelo gowns. They’re just magical.
What about getting a tea length reception gown? That way you get the best of both worlds! I’m personally ALL about your dress now and think you should wear it as long as possible, but if you have your heart set on a tea length and still love your dress now, just split the time in half. 🙂

I think you should at least try on the tea length dress. The dress you chose is gorgeous though.

What about changing into a tea length reception dress as a compromise? I much prefer your original dress though.

Your current dress is absolutely gorgeous! In my opinion the other dress is pretty but the one you have is much more impressive.

Wow, that first dress is amazing. If you have your mind set on the second dress then before you sign for the first dress go try on your pick then make up your mind from there. You don’t want the shoulda, woulda, coulda going on in your head.

@nearly-mrs-R: I spent ages beforedeciding on my tea length dress. There were lots of perfectly good dress shops near me (but no tea length dresses in them). The dress I had set my heart on was in London!!! I decided to go for the one in London. It was costly in flights and the dress wasn’t cheap but I don’t regret it for a second. My dress was amazing. People still comment on it months later.
Im sharing my story because I really believe if you’re a tea length girl it’s hard to escape!!! The other dress you chose is beautiful but you need to ask if it is you.
Also, the dress company I bought my dress specialises in tea length dresses. I can pm you the details if you want.

I love your dress! I agree with PP, get the tea length dress for the reception, they’re usually good prices! I bought a huge ball gown which I love, but I always wanted a mermaid dress, so I’m buying one for my 2nd dress for the reception!
