I’m making a trip down to Charleston (where I’m getting married) soon and will be meeting my wedding coordinator for the first time in person (We’ve talked online and by phone a million times already). I only hired her for week of services but as of now she has gone above and beyond for me. Seriously the service she has provided thus far is incredible compared to how little I feel I’m paying, and all of this she’s done without me asking. That being said I really wanted to get her a little something to show her how much I appreciate all the extra work she’s been doing. Is that silly? I thought about just getting her a cute little card and maybe a yummy treat or something? Any other ideas? Or is this just ridiculous in the first place?

I think that is a really nice idea and she will appreciate that you’ve shown how much you acknowledge her hard work!

I also think it is sweet!
Also, I may be way off base, but when I asked my friends and family about tipping the vendors – they all said that the wedding coordinator gets a gratuity. So I gave my coordinator a card and a tip and she greatly appreciated it. This is TOTALLY your call, but just thought I would mention it…

@HapaBride – I plan on tipping her but not before the wedding. The day of the wedding or right after I plan on giving her a card and tip. But the little something extra is something I wanted to do well before the wedding like next month.

That’s super sweet, and will be very much appreciated. I’m also a wedding coordinator, and brides have done type of thing for me in the past, and I must say, chocolate always wins me over 🙂
