Hello Gorgeous bees!
I have been dress shopping for awhile. tried on about 30-40 dresses and been to 7 different stores but I haven’t found The dress that i am looking for. Frankly I didn’t want to spend alot of money for a dress either. However.. I fell in love with this one dress that I found on line. I haven’t tried on because its an older model of maggie and sottero dress.
Its Tabrett. and I also found Tabrett Marie. One is more of fit and flare/ mermaid shape and the other one is A-line.
I have tried many different dresses but I can’t decided which shape would flatter my figure better??
I am 5 feet 2 and i Have a very long torso and short leg. (OH! the blessings of being an asian!!) All these photos were taken on the pedestal making me look taller.

I like the more fitted styles on you.

My favorites on you are pics #3 (A-Line), 4 (mermaid), and 5 (A-Line). So I think it depends on the particular dress.

I like the fitted styles as well so I voted mermaid.

Some of those look more like ballgowns to me..but I think the mermaid style suits you better.

@alicia1745: That dress was from bridal store from annapolis MD, HOwever…. the lady told me that was designed and made by the owner of the store who is also a seamstress but I thought she might be lying…? Because they were bit rude , pushy , and shady…
that dress was over 2000 :0 and while i was there another bride with her whole family got in a argument over am alteration .. so I didn’t want to get my dress at her store..

@limegreenbride: Yeah. some dresses are ball gown because I wanted to wear big gown with tulles.. but i felt like ball gowns make me look short. and bigger… ? plus I want to be able to dance and move around since my budget allows for one dress I am going to more fitted dress 😀 Good eye!!!

I’m concerned about the pedestool. I LOVE the mermaids on you. But, when you are standing up there, you (and we) can’t really see what the dress looks like on you. I would suggest wearing heels and stepping off the pedestool. Mermaids tend to make the torso look evel longer, so if that is what you are worried about, maybe you should look elsewhere.
I voted for the A-line (which I normally detest), but I think it just looks so much more natual on you.
