At this point in time I would probably just take what you can get and look for something better. There is no shortage of people willing to work for whatever they can get. It might be frusterating to make less, and put a crimp in your budget. But if you won’t do it for what they want to pay, there are people waiting to step up to fill the position. Employers know this and might not be so eager to negotiate when the money is short and jobs are in demand. I would keep looking tho, I was in a temp position making two dollars less an hour after my job left and I started looking elsewere. I found a new job that is permanent and full time and it pays more than my original job. It took a month or so, but being patient paid off.  Use the job as a filler until you find something better. Some pay is better than no pay. Good Luck, hang in there.

Unless you sit tight and maybe wait to see if it will become a full time position. If that is the case than ask for the raise.

Id wait until you talk to HR tomorrow and get the exact wage.  You can always ask for an increase then and if you dont get it, try and focus on the fact that you have a job 🙂  Good luck with the new position!
