Ok so this is a little Too Much Information but I’m a little concerned. I have yet to get my monthly visitor. Here is a little back story – I was on the depo for about 4 years stopped taking it last year when I lost my insurance. So my period just started coming back in April of this year – it lasted 4days and the one in May lasted 7days. I started taking the pill at the beginning of this month (waited to have sex like he doc advised) and have only missed one day (I did double up the next day). According to my monthly tracker I should have started this Monday. I took a test Monday and it was negative, I took a test yesterday still negative and still no period. So I’m not sure if this is normal with the pill. Can anyone help?????

faymeetscincy: your body is still adjusting. This is completely normal. Changing from something to nothing and back to something else again throws your hormones for a loop. It could take a couple months for your body to adjust. If you’re really worried, just call the doc who prescribed you the pil. I wouldn’t worry.

I recently changed brands of the pill and I didn’t get my monthly visitor for two months. I think my hormones were out of whack because last month it came back, no problems. I think with any change in birth control, specifically hormonal birth control, sometimes your period can get out of whack.

Oh, thanks ladies. I’ve never used the pill before. That takes a lot of stress away
