- Wedding: June 2013
We’re having a smaller wedding, thank God. I am so happy I do not have any groomsmen or bridesmaids to design for. I realized today a lot of things may be done last minute because of necessity. There are only a limited number of people I can count on to help with flowers the night before and arrainging, etc the day of (we have an evening wedding)
I’m worried it all won’t get done and also about my family clashing with FH’s. They are a bit psycho and my entire family is dreading sitting in the same room with them, as am I. Also, quite a bit of my Hispanic family is coming (yay!) which means they will not speak English because they know limited amount. I’m fine with this but worried because FH’s family is racist and this is probably the first encounter they’ve had with a different culture, especially at an event when two families are together for a wedding. I’m nervous!!!
With bilingual things going on and drama from FH’s family and picking up flowers/food, arrainging things the morning of the wedding. I’m scared. Any advice? Our wedding is so small .. 30ish people… that I’m totally utilizing all the people I know I can count on and am still doing so much myself.
