Not alone. I think there’s a few, but I’ll reply giving helpful advice anyway. If the drama continues then I jut bow out.
It would be a shame for someone real to get a load of mean replies. Plus, getting mad is troll entertainment.

I actually haven’t encountered any seemingly fake posts, but then again I’ve been off the bee for the last week. How do you know though when it’s a fake post and a legitimate fucked up situation? Lol.
Also, as politely as possible, I think there are some erm… Very opinionated people here whose replies can come across as really quiet rude. I’ve also seen people’s previous posts used against them when making new posts so I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of users end up closing down their account and creating a new one for fear of having their passed posts used against them.

how do people know they are fake posts… usually a hint is that they JUST joined, created a crazy drama rant and refuse to take any advice at all while never posting on or acknowledging anything else
logicallt who joins a website and the first thing they post is complete drama?
not normal people, they normally look around and join in a few thread or if they are brave open a simple ‘hello, im new’ post not just unleash crazy

Interesting that a new member with less than 100 posts is accusing other new members of being “trolls,” in large part due to their low post count. If someone is breaking the TOS, report it to the moderators. It’s what they’re there for.

cmbr : As a “long time lurker” new poster I feel like when a new bee posts nothing on any page other than their own crazy Jerry Springer type post that’s a red flag. My history has me posting on numerous boards on all types of topics wedding related. Asking questions and responding to others. The pages I was referring to are from bees with no other activity other than a total far out story with weird details.

Sometimes I respond to fishy posts with the thought that the issue raised may be important to someone who reads my opinion
whether or not the original post was legit.
The thing about a theoretically anonymous website is that no one can REALLY know which posts are legit and which aren’t, so anyone who posts and anyone who responds can really only assume the responsibility for themselves.

- Wedding: September 2009 - Barr Mansion
I’m closing this thread now. We do not allow threads intended to stir drama, and we do not allow name calling on Weddingbee, which includes calling people “trolls.”
