can you remodel the other houses?  it sucks to have a bad kitchen.  my kitchen is the world’s smallest.  2 people can’t really fit in it.

Yeah, but if you remodel, you can make everything EXACTLY how you want it! Plus you have the satisfaction of taking something that’s just “meh” and making it into something great.

As a veteran of house-hunting, I can tell you two things.  The first is that everything happens for a reason (a cringe-worthy statement if there ever was one, but true). Second, these things often fall through.  Have your realtor ask their realtor to keep in touch.  With our current home, we had 2 houses fall through on inspection and this one almost fell through on appraisal.  Forget our individual houses before this one.  Hang in there–if you remodel yourself, you at least know it’s done right.
