January brides, I am a month away from the big day! CRAZY!!! How is everyone doing ?What do you still have to do ? Any hiccups thus far?Anything you leaving till after the holidays ?
Are you watching what you eat over the next few weeks, or are you indulging?
Hope all my month twins are doing well!

@BeeOi: Date twin! It is exciting to be at the 1 month mark. I feel like I am so behind and will be cramming these last few days. We’ve changed groomsmen like 20 million times (actually 3 times). I still have not purchased my accessories and the ladies are waiting for me to give the final approval stamp on their accesories. Waiting for the material to be delivered so we can do the aisle decor and still haven’t figured out the bouquet flowers. Cant get the FH to commit to a honeymoon spot.
At this point I really wanted to be done with everything, but then when I woke up from that dream I found myself still trying to handle everything. I don’t have any idea of how the reception is going to flow and just figured out the ceremony order. Geez I just realized how really behind I am, guess I need to get off the computer and get to doing things.

I don’t have any of my accesories either!! Luckily my decor is sorted, as I hired a company to do it .Still have two little projects I have chosen to take on , and I am now regretting it! And yes, yet to figure out the timing for the day.Eeekkk!

@BeeOi: I can’t believe how quickly time is flying! I finished some wedding crafts recently (love letter hearts for my bouquet, personalized wine glasses for BMs, MOB and Future Mother-In-Law, cake topeer) and I’m having a phone call with the photographer and DJ this week.
As far as watching what I eat over the holidays, that is stressing me out! FI and I are traveling to where his family lives for TWO WEEKS! I always gain a few pounds when we visit b/c we just eat out a lot and the food is so heavy and delicious. Plus it will be freezing there, so working out outside will be challenging. I’ve already found two local gyms that give free 5 or 7 day passes, and told Fiance we will be going to the gym at least 5x a week. He’s in really good shape too, and also on board with keeping up the workouts, so I think we can make it work! Hopefully working out will counteract all the delicious holiday food, and if not, I’ll step it up for the final two weeks prior to the wedding once we get back home!

@SophieB3: Our wedding is in South Africa, and I am here right now on a holiday,so for most of our guests it is a destination wedding, many of them are arriving the week before the wedding, and we showing them around .Many want to hang out at the Wine estates, I have been freaking out at what this is going to mean for my waist line! No gym near me at the moment, but I have Shaun T’s T25, Insanity AND Jillian Michaels Six week to 6 pack. I have been doing a workout or run every morning thus far, making sure to alternate between cardio and strength training . I have been able to workout every day , which makes me happy. Just keep a few dvd’s and your laptop nearby and do a little something !Good on you for finding those gyms as well.

Yep sort of panicking… I pick up my dress this coming Friday, all other outfits are sorted. I think we just need to organise our vows, speeches and just do the final confirmations on things. But it’s the little things that take up time…
we have decided to do a de-tox. Never done one but our kits arrived yesterday. First phase starts Boxing Day, second phase starts New Year’s Day and we finish jan 10, so 8 days before the wedding. Haven’t told my dress maker but I plan on dropping 10 pounds.

AH FOUR MORE WEEKS.
Overall things are going well. I had a meeting yesterday with my venue coordinator, and she said I am way ahead of the game.
There are a few little details left, but for the most part, things are done! I have my makeup trial on Thursday, and if I am happy with it, then I will book her for my wedding. She’s the last big piece of the puzzle.
At my first dress fitting last week we could not zip the dress up – I was horrified! I cut out all the junk I was eating, and yesterday at the fitting, we got me in the dress! I am keeping up with my no junk diet (I miss pizza!) and strength training, so hopefully I won’t have to get the dress let out.
Also, I have never met with the DJ, so we need to get on that pronto. Eeek.

I had my first dress fitting yesterday! Kind of ticked as the size down would have been perfect as with this one they need to take quite a bit from the top seams and some on the side as well. It’s corset back so the size down I may have been able to adjust better with that.
Heading over to my Future In-Laws today to work on a few logistics items, timelines, seating chart for their family that type of thing. Otherwise just about everything is wrapped up.
I have one craft item to do for the escort cards but it shouldn’t take long!
For the holidays I’m not going to do anything crazy but I will enjoy myself for sure! I haven’t gotten to the gym much, was hoping to work on my arms but my arthritis flared up bad last week and I don’t have the hand strength right now.
Best of luck to everyone as the day draws nearer!!!

There’s still a bunch to do but Fiance is helping me. We still need to make flowers, programs, buy alcohol, figure out who is helping with cleanup.

@BeeOi: Ugh, my goal was to work out 5 days a week in November and every day in December, and I was doing PERFECTLY until I got sick this week!! I am so bummed–I took a day off, then tried to do a light workout the next day and then I felt AWFUL the day after I worked out. So now I’m just resting at the future in-laws house and eating Christmas cookies nonstop. Lol, NOT how I was planning for the month before my wedding to go… hopefully I will feel better in the next day or two and can get back to working out every day!
Also, I can’t believe I’m sick right now, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I am just getting it out of the way before the wedding. Being sick on my wedding day would be no fun!
I checked everything off my “1 Month To Go” to-do list. All that’s left is my “Two Weeks To Go” to-do list and my “Week-Of To Do List.” I can’t believe it!!!!!!!!

Just had a vendor CANCEL on me. I rented a photobooth and received the following email this morning:
Sorry you must have been calling off business hours. I looked at your file and we do not service PSL with just a photo booth. I am sending over a cancellation of contract as well as a $100 deposit refund. Sorry for the inconvenience.
This was after multiple emails and phone calls went unreturned. I’m livid. Also, I paid $150 for a deposit….IN JUNE!!! She could have figured this out a little sooner and told me with more than a month to go!
Fortunately my DOC also rents photo booths, and can get me one for only $200 more. I’m still disappointed, but it is better than working with that company!
