I just wanted to share. To those of you who are having weddings where children are going to be present, invest in some glowsticks!
I got 50 purple bracelet glowsticks to put on our candy buffet as an extra goodie and the kids (and even adults) LOVED them. At a wedding of 60 people, all 50 of the glowsticks were gone at the end of the night! lol
They were such a huge hit! My friend told me her daughter fell asleep in the car on the way home clutching her glowsticks for dear life 🙂
They were one of those little extra details that I didn’t think would be all that special, but they turned out to be a favorite!

Oh that is a great idea!!! Our reception is at night, and that might be a fun thing for running around outside with. I’m totally doing that.

this is a great idea for our adult guests too! I’m getting some.
eta – how long do glow sticks last? Can you buy them too early?

Great Idea! I was thinking about picking some up. I found at the dollar store and target where you can tubes of 15 mixed colors for $1.00!

@GroovyHippieChick: I think they last a few years before you snap them. I bought mine a few months ahead of time.
Once snapped, mine glowed brightly for about 10 hours, and then remained dully glowing for 24hrs+ lol
