But I love my kiddos more than anything and sacrificing a few showers here and there is worth it 🙂

That is so sweet! I thought the same thing when my cousin had twins and I would watch them and be covered in spit up and never have an extra hand. How do moms make it look so easy?

Single mom of an infant…I cant even imagine. Poor thing but she is blessed to have a friend like you to help her.

@iheartsquishy:  lol I totally agree!

@Linz1231:  You sound like a really good friend, she’s lucky to have you. It’s funny how no one tells you that you won’t be able to eat, shower, or brush your hair easily with a newborn…or at least you don’t believe them before you have kids (I know I didn’t!).

Lol, I always say you can get used to anything if you do it for a long enough time.  🙂

I’ve always thought motherhood was the toughest job in the world.  Which is (part of the reason) why I never had kiddies – I know I don’t have it in me.

Kudos to all of you!!

@Linz1231:  Yep!  Addie just turned 2 (where has the time gone?!) and Henri is three months.  It’s crazy and hectic and chaotic but really fun.  It’s kinda like college; sleepless nights, nothing is ever planned out, I eat a lot of Ramen, and it’s pretty much the best time of my life.  🙂

Your sweet little puppy!  My older dog, Louie, always gets really concerned when the baby cries, too.  It’s like he’s a mother, as well!

@iheartsquishy:  Ha this is so true.

I was a single Mom until with DS with no family help until I moved in with Darling Husband (not my DS’s biological Dad) DS was nearly 1 when we moved intogether. We had dated a little over 6 months before making the move. I lived 45 minutes away and it just made sense to take that step. Anywho it was so HARD in the first few weeks and I really underestimated how much single Mom’s and even not single Mom’s do. Now I have 3 kids total and 1 on the way. Our lives are super crazy but I wouldn’t change it for anything.

You’re a good friend!  I can barely hold my own life together some days, never mind anyone else’s!

I’m reading this thread with a very crabby, overtired 9 week old finally asleep.  Unfortunately she is asleep on me and I am in the most awkward position ever.  It’s been an hour and a half and I will be hurting later!  But dont dare move!  All I have eaten is a handful of pretzels and two cookies!  And I havent been able to shower yet!  This mommy thing is tough!!  Thank you for starting this thread!

@Linz1231:  I was a single mom but not of a new born. More power to her and I wish you and her nothing but the best.
