I think most people are focused on the actual project/dress/makeup, etc. and won’t really pay attention to the background.

@Miss Otter:  Yeah, it’s just a message board, not like professional photos or stuff I’ll be putting on FB, I don’t really care if the other bees know my bed isn’t made!

Sometimes I see knickers. IMO, photobombs are funny!

People don’t have to pick up/move/crop funny, incriminating, or otherwise “fascinating” people or objects. But they should realize the price of them not doing so is that someone will notice and point it out! I always look for photobombs!

Doesnt personally bother me. I’m not an organized person. My house looks lived in. I dont go all out to put everything away when I have company, so I wouldnt do that to take pictures either.

Unless someone’s house looks like it belongs on Hoarders, I dont really even notice. I dont expect peoples houses to look like they’re a model home or something.

i know exactly what you mean.

a girl i know got a fancy car and was having photos of them taken in it and next to it, and there was a blue ford parked RIGHT THERE and the photographer didn’t even try to get it out of the picture! it was awful and it didn’t ‘set the scene’.

some pictures can look good with crazy chaos in the background, but personally i would like to see a tidy room in the back of my pics getting ready, than one with boxes and open suitcases strung around everywhere!

Actually I think some pics are hilarious! I love looking at the “stuff” behind – I am a “Picture Snooper”! LOL

Thank you for saying this, specially the getting ready area. I actually spend time cleaning stuff up as a photographer so its not in the picture quiet often. Or I have to ask for someone to clean up.

I must say I am totally one to notice things in the back ground!! The other day a friend of mine took a pic of her cat lying on the bed and you could totally see her nightstand. She had cigarettes on it….she is friends with both her parents on FB. Her parents had no clue she smokes….guess what now they do! She didn’t realize you could see it in the pic….LOL

@happyface:  LOL, I agree I pay LOTS of attention to detail so I’m always looking in the background.  One friend of mine took a pic of himself and uploaded it on FB and there were probably 20 bottles of meds on his coffee table….you can imagine the comments.  Another one of my friends took pics of her cat and in each photo, there were no less than 6 cans of Pepsi on each surface….someone told her she probably had a few dollars in aluminum recycling in just her bedroom.
