Bees, you are my new besties and I need one right now…
My fiance just took a flight out of Chicago to go take care of his Great-Grandfather. He had a stroke and it is not looking good. We are Christians, and I keep reminding myself that everything is in Gods hands, but its still hard to handle.
Firstly, we have never gone a day without seeing each other since we started dating. He took a one-way flight. I dont know when he’ll be back.
Secondly, he is so upset! I just want to hold his hand and tell him everything is ok.
He is the love of my life. I love him, I love his family. This situation is not good. But it reminds me of all this…
If you pray, please pray for us. Thanks bees.

I hope all will be ok. Let this be a lesson to you in your relationship and take note with how to support your partner is his time of need.

I will be praying, for both him and his grandpa as well as your worries. He is lucky to have a woman who loves him so much.

Thank you all so much. He arrived safely and got to see his grandpa. That is what he wanted. Now I hope he can help his grandma with the decisions and the running around. I just wish I could be there too.
It means so much to me that people we dont even know care. Thank you.

My grandfather had a stroke the night after he met my Fiance for the first time… and I honestly wouldn’t have been able to cope had he not been there (we’re in a LDR). A stroke is the worst possible thing someone can go through IMO. You become a prisoner in your own body or your own mind…
Is there ANY way you can go be with your FI? It is so scary & shocking to see your loved one like that.
I can relate all too well & I am keeping you all in my prayers!
