We’re renting an apartment. We are moving after I graduate in May, so there is no point in buying at this time!

My Fiance brought a house way before we even met and that’s where we live now. The house is currently on sale. We are currently looking for a bigger home. Once we purchase this new house, it will be in both our names.

We’re in the apartment renting club too, since SF homes are $$$$ and we’d love to travel a bit more before making a big financial commitment….hopefully in the next 5 years we’ll have a home to call our own!

We rent an apartment, but it’s more like a single floor townhome. It’s 3bdrm/2ba with an attached two car garage. We plan on staying renting for a while, I don’t want to be tied down with a house in this market. If we want to be able to sell and move it would be really difficult right now.

We rent an apartment. He works and I go to grad school and work part time, and since we plan to move close to family, renting is more convinient right now, plus it allow us to save more to pay the bills. We plan to buy a house once I get close to finishing school or so.

We own a townhouse and house. My husband had the townhouse before we met, and we lived there until I got pregnant. That’s when we decided we wanted a bigger house, and now we rent out the townhouse.

We live in housing provided by my husband’s work (University Professor). So, we don’t technically pay for housing, and right now I get a small housing allowance from my work because I don’t live in their housing. Before we moved to Afghanistan though we rented.

Ideally, we’d like to buy a vacation home sometime in the next ten-fifteen years. We’ll probably continue to rent / live in work provided housing until we retire. ; )

My Fiance owns a house, but it broke in the earthquake!

So for now we are renting until we get our insurance settlement (been nearly a year now) then we will buy a house.

My husband and I rent a duplex. I moved in with him 7 months after we met, he never liked me to go home and it was senseless to pay rent for something I wasn’t living in. I can’t wait to buy a condo or house, this place is the size of a postage stamp. I absolutely HATE my kitchen. I love to cook and bake but when you have less than 3 feet of prep space it makes cooking non-enjoyable. He knows hoe much I want to buy but he’s afraid of getting in over his head. I completly understand but I would love to have a closet to hold all my clothes and not half of them stored in the garage.

Fiance and I closed on our very first home in July. Before that we rented which we hated we actually broke our lease midway to move into our home. It has been an amazing experience.
