For me it’s really cool because it’s for every stage of the wedding/marriage process.

There’s waiting, for the bee’s who’ve talked about getting married and know it’s coming but aren’t sure when.

Then you become an official wedding bee, you are engaged and planning your wedding.  I also like that they have the wedding bee sections for 20s,30s,40s, encores, inter racial, faith specific so that you can drill down and find something specific to you.

Then you are a married bee, and you are navigating the waters of nesting, TTC, becoming a pregnant bee, then maybe you can ask advice for kids.

Also, being a married bee means that you’ve already had a wedding or elopement, possibly a honeymoon so that you can share your knowledge with others.

As PP’s have mentioned you can also sort through the boards to go to the section that applies to you instead of ‘all posts’ which will only show you the most recently replied posts.

PS as a waiting bee and I cannot WAIT to graduate to weddingbee, married bee, TTC bee and pregnancy bee…I see myself being in the hive for a long time!

@Zhabeego:  There are boards on here specifically for weddings and others specifically for married life, pregnancy, babies, etc. They are labeled as such. I suggest you learn how to use the website to best suit your needs. All you need to do is click on “wedding related” at the top of the page. 🙂

@Zhabeego:  A LOT of baby boards are depressing! LOTS of miscarriages, women who have been trying YEARS to get pregnant, etc. So I prefer the ones here enormously.

And if you only want to see the wedding board, there’s a category for that!

@Zhabeego:  I filter mine accordingly…..Even while I was planning my wedding I enjoyed seeing the pregnant bees go through their pregnancy’s and seeing their little ones.  This had turned into a ‘friend’ ‘family’ thing for me.  So I like getting to know some other bees.  It is also eye opening to me when it comes to the pregnancy boards since one day I do want children, I kind of know what to expect without reading 50 books.  There are so many bees on here with so many different careers that we can easily ask questions about almost anything and there is a bee here that can give you an educated answer!

@Zhabeego: True. Cool I’m actually the first woman in my family to try to get married BEFORE having a baby, so I did write it out like that for me.  Marriage is valued but not an absolute in my family, babies are valued much higher.

I was merely trying to explain the different levels of wedding bee.  For some people, it maybe waiting bee, pregant bee, then engaged bee, then married bee.

Hope this helps!!

@Zhabeego:  she never said it was. You’re only reading what you want to on this thread. People have told you how to see wedding related boards only. Chill out.

@veryberry13:  no problem. It irked me that she took the time to call you out while ignoring all the other people who told her what to do!

@Peaceoutboyscout:  I have baby fever BAD and I’ve been all over the baby boards on here lol!!!!!!!  I agree with what @brandnewbride has said about them being a little heartbreaking, I’m get scared that the longer we wait the harder it’ll be for us to concieve.  SO and I want to wait at least until he has a job because right now he is a student and while he wants babies, I think he’s worried about not being able to support a baby.  I make double his student stipend so I do pay for a lot….and we are barely making it.

Hopefully SO gets a job soon so we can hurry up and move forward with life haha!!
