Honestly, the closer I got to the day he told me he was going to propose, the calmer I got about it all. By the time that morning came around, I was excited, but very calm, very sure, and very content. Also, I taught myself how to knit 😉

I knew when it was coming. It was fun. It wasnt a surprise and, for me, it ruined something. BUT I still enjoyed it.  Focus on the meaning, the thought behind the moment, not your “dream” of what you wish it was.

You’ll be fine! I knew he had the ring for six months before he proposed.  It actually got a lot easier as time went on.  Just try not to mention it; I think he wanted me to feel like it was a surprise.

It didn’t take anything away, it was just as special.
