As we rant about the details of our weddings, complain about our ILs, etc…
Let’s just take a moment to stop and appreciate what we have. Good health, a family (whether you get along with them or not) and the actual energy to do all this complaining.
I received some terrible news today. I won’t go into detail but it made me realize what’s important in life. And it’s not dresses or menus.
So please be kind to each other and your family. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Appreciate every day that you have on this Earth and remember to say “I love you”.

@Aquaria: You’re right, thank you for that reminder. I hope that everything is ok. (((hugs)))

Thank you for the moment of reflection we should all have; because we all get caught up with crazy things that go along with planning a wedding. I have theses moments everyday because when I think of my Fiance being in a country that would do anything to avoid our soldiers from coming home safe.
I am humbled everyday and thankful as well because I am blessed to have a Fiance that has the faith which has substained him during this difficult time.
I am sorry you received bad news today and I send you prayers of peace. You are right we tell each other and the family we love them daily which I have always felt it important to do.
THANK YOU FOR THE MOMENT OF REFLECTION.
