- Wedding: October 2011
We are having a rustic, fall wedding (colors are copper, deep plum, dark reds, etc. etc.) and I am trying to figure out our favor. We are in the San Francisco / East Bay Area, so I thought that Ghirardelli chocolate squares would be a cute idea since they are headquartered here. Also, my fiancé loves pumpkin flavored anything and they have a pumpkin flavored chocolate that is amazing that comes out in the fall. So I was thinking I could either give guest a variety pack of 3 or 4 chocolate squares and put in a bag that says “life if sweet enjoy your treat” or have a dessert bar with these and other sorts of candy and desserts and they can fill the bag. Or another idea, which is completely different, would be to put the dry ingredients and seasons in a mason jar for this pumpkin bread I make for my fiancé and give out during the holidays. I can tie a note that says “seasoned with love” or something and have our recipe attached to it (The ingredients would be nutmeg, cinnamon, flower, cloves, ginger, and salt).
I want the favor to be something everyone will enjoy and use/eat, and I don’t know if the mason jar will be something people will use or not. The majority of our guest are local, but we will have some of my family and friends from Texas, Florida, and Mass. flying in.
What would you like the most as a favor?
