Obviously, I have heard a lot of horror stories from DB all around the internets However, I had a really good experience with them and it is where I purchansed my dress. What happened today though, that was a bit of a shock. I had a hair trial today and we stopped by DB after so my mom could look at shoes and jackets. While we’re there she tells me to see how my hair looks with my dress, so I find it and ask an attendant if I could use a room quick. The dress I grabbed is a size 8, whereas my own dress is a 6 (and tight, I had asked for an 8 when I ordered but the girl insisted a 6 would fit better, it did when I got it but it’s way too tight now). The size 8 fit me like a dream, a little big through the straps, but an easy alteration, plus it also needs cleaned, but again no biggie. My mom and I have a whispered conversation on whether or not I should ask if I can exchange my dress, seeing as my dress will need let out. We decide it can’t hurt to ask, so I explain that my dress is tight and I’m not sure it will be easy to let out, but will find out at my first fitting on Saturday of this week. The ladies offered to hold the size 8 dress until my fitting on Saturday to see if we should just exchange the size 6 for the 8. I was shocked! But so happy! I’m so glad I don’t have to worry about the dress needing serious alterations. Yay for the Toledo David’s Bridal!
