I am walking down to The Piano Guys instrumental! Makes my fiancee cry! And he hates Twilight!

I don’t think the song ever actually played during the movie, just the credits (according to my good friend Google anyway). I looked it up because I too used it in my processional and I didn’t want any Twilight influence 😉 Anyone who recognizes it from the movie is probably a fan of it anyway so they haven’t much room to judge right?
I used the Piano Guys version which is also lovely.

I like the song and think it’s ageless but as you can tell even by this thread, it’s used a lot. If you like it, use it though.

NO your not to old for that song. I’m a younger bride and I’m using that song when I walk down tha aisle but honestly feels its timeless to me and would work with any bride honestly. Whatever works for you do it. The song is beautiful regardless of the fact it came from twilight (kinda a Twi head but understand others hate for the movie). I’m using the whole song for me alone because the words just explain so much. I tryign to figure if I should just let the song play out even if I’m already up the aisle but might let it play a bit before I start to walk so there isn’t to much playing after if that happens.

I loved it before it was popular or common or (insert what you want to call it). Fiance and I have been together for 7 years and I am 31. The song is perfect for us. Frankly, anyone who has something to say about it can eat me. So, with that said if you like it go for it!!!

Thanks! Once I heard the piano in Susan Boyle’s rendition, I just knew that was it. My Father-In-Law lost it when it came on… it was pretty powerful.

I went to a wedding last week and they played that song during the precessional. I have seen all the Twilight movies and had no idea the song was from the movies. I didnt know until I looked the song up the next day. I think you have to be a huge Twightlight fan to remember that song from the movies. Most of your guests will hear the song and think nothing more than what a beautiful song it is. I wish I had it played during my wedding. Its so perfect.

I really don’t like twilight, but I like this song! I just don’t know if I can let myself walk down the aisle to “the twilight song” haha

We will be using the Piano Guys version of this song (I’m 35 by the way):

Meh, I hate Twilight and it also made “Clair de lune” popular, but there’s no way I’d let a movie stop me from using a song I love. Since this is a pretty old thread, I hope you used the song you wanted regardless!

- Wedding: March 2017 - The Tall Ship Elissa, Galveston, TX
I know this thread was two years old, but the instrumental version is such a timeless, beautiful song, and like others have said I doubt many people would even know what movie it was from — especially after all this time.
I liked the Piano Guys’ version, but I fell head over heels in love with the “wedding version” arranged by Sherrod Brown. I am admittedly somewhat of a Twihard, (and olllllllldd — turn 50 today, actually 🙂 ) but it wouldn’t have mattered… I just love this son so MUCH. 144 more days until I walk to my sweetheart with this song playing. 🙂
This is the version I’m using: https://youtu.be/rCFL3QgNLwU
