I'd do it! It's a huge waste of money and resources not to, plus if it's awesome, no reason not to! : (190 votes)

I think it's fine. It's not like you got to wear it & it'll be hard to top if you really loved it... : (101 votes)

I personally wouldn't do it, but I wouldn't judge you if you did. : (90 votes)

The dress is tainted, & folks are going to think you just cut and pasted new groom into old wedding! : (20 votes)

@TurdFerguson:  I think it is perfectly acceptable to wear the dress, after all it is your dream dress and the practical option!

Go for it! As long as you love the dress that’s all the matters.

@TurdFerguson:  AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOUR NAME IS TURD FERGUSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wah. That was my runner-up username. I’m a little sad you took it. 🙁

On to your post: I say use the dress. It’s not like it’s an engagement ring that your Fiance gave you that his ex wore. That dress was ALWAYS meant for you, and you’re going to wear it for one day only.

If you love it, and can’t see yourself in another dress, save the $$ and recycle it.

PS: Welcome to Weddingbee. Clearly, you have a sense of humor, based on your user name. Glad to have you aboard.

It would be great to see a photo of it.  But if makes you look and feel great, then it’s your decision.  I don’t think there are no rights or wrongs here, as long as you can live with your decision.  I would not ask other people’s opinion because they would judge you.  Do what you think is right

Is your Fiance cool with it? If you and he don’t care then I say go for it! No sense in spending money on someting you already have and love

I say wear it too. I think it would be different if you’d gone thru with the last wedding and actually WORN it. But, you never did and you obviously love it and let’s be real those things aren’t cheap.

    And I wanna see pics!

You bought the dress for youself, not for the guy. And you still love it, not the guy. I don’t see why the two can’t be separated 🙂

I think that you probably bought the dress thinking, “This is how I want to look when I get married” and now the time has come, so I don’t think that there’s anything wrong with it.

I say go for it but I would deff confirm that it’s OK w/ your Fiance first.  The last thing you want is your Fiance looking down on your dress since it wasn’t originally picked for your special day with him.

Sure, go for it. You say it’s your dream dress and if you’re practical, then why spend money on another dress if you have the one you love already?

Pics would always be nice though Smile

I don’t see anything wrong with it as long as you and your Fiance are okay with it!  Nobody else is gonna know that it was from a previous engagement unless you tell people, lol

I personally wouldn’t do it.  But to each their own 🙂 If you are worried about if others will judge you, maybe there is some doubt in your mind.  So you should get a different dress lol! Jk Jk! But I agree you should post some pictures up!!!
