My wedding is coming up in August and I still haven’t decided what I want to do for my Grand Entance. I want it to be elegant, classy and glamorous so definitely not entering to an upbeat song or sunglasses or mission impossible or something like that. My best friend got married a couple of months ago and she had an amazing idea for her grand entrance. Her finacee and her stood behind a curtain and the lights dimmed. They had a projector light up the curtain so only their shadows showed. They kissed and then the curtains opened. It was beautiful. This is the sort of thing I’m looking for so if you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks!

leenkh: Have the bridal party line up on either side of the entranceway, and pick up cameras with flash that you have had someone place there for them.
As you make your entrance, they can be the paparazzi with flashes going off everywhere.

Our reception venue is outdoor – so we rented two horses and we will do the grand entrance on each horse, holding hands! It is a surprise for everyone, and even the bridal party doesn’t know about it.

kimkomposer: I love that idea! Unfortunately our reception will be indoors so it’s not doable 🙁 but thanks anyway 🙂

Honestly – the most classy and elegant entrances, imo, are the ones where the bride and groom enter unannounced. Sorry I know that doesn’t really answer your question but if you want elegant and sophisticated….that’s probably the best way to go. Just a thought.
