@Quinlan:  You can always talk to your gyno and go on birth control and take it so that you definitely don’t get it for your wedding night/ honeymoon.

My period didn’t even factor into my wedding date selection. My venue and church availability made up about 99% of the decision. Luckily, my period came a week after my wedding. It meant I was a little bloated when we got married, but no big deal.

My period is completely sporadic.. so I just had to pick my day.. I have been trying to monitor my cycle  but its impossible.. One cycle was 28 days, one 35 with various ranges inbetween so like I said its unpredictable.. I can’t control it with birth control because I had horrible side effects when I took BC years ago (weight gain, acne, mood swings and I tried multiple pills) so there is a chance I will have my period. I am hopeful that it will start sometime at the end of our honeymoon but you never know…

@Quinlan:  1. Hahaha at the red dress 2. my Fiance and I decided we wanted to try the natural family planning method recommended by our church since I’ve been on birth control for so long. So here I am two months before my wedding thinking wtf did I just do lol according to my “schedule” I should be just finishing up with Aunt Flo but I always used bc as my crutch so I’m terrified 🙂 lol

Oh man we booked our venue like 14 months before our wedding and I had no idea when my period would come. My cycles change a lot and sometimes my period is 4 days early or 1 day later and that over the course of a year changes things so much I’d never be able to predict that a year in advance. As we got closer to the wedding I got paranoid but it came a week and a half after the wedding, a few days after we got home from our honeymoon. I was so happy! lol

I don’t really care if I get it on the day of. I have a diva cup that I can use for the whole day, and I’m hoping that my Mirena will stop my period completely before then

@Quinlan:  and that is exactly where my attitude comes from! Why stress out about it if you can’t change it anyway? the only thing it will do is give you high blood pressure

    That dress is hilarious!

I have a very long engagement so even though I chart, I can’t really be sure. I have always been so fearful of having my period on my wedding day. So, if a few months ahead of time it looks like aunt flo is rsvp’ing yes to my wedding- I’ll start using some herbs and hippie stuff to shift her up a bit… Because I ain’t having it!
