I saw one similar that showed things kids today will have never seen nor will they understand references to. Weird. The one that stuck out to me the most was a rotary wall phone, shoot, most will have never seen a home phone. Crazy

I agreed with pretty much all of the list except number 25 – Did they have their eyes shut when Mufasa died??

Oh goodness. I literally laughed (and snorted) at #28.

Other people did that too?

OMG…I think I just teared. WOW…those were the days. I had those very same Lion King spoons and pretty much every single one of those toys, my sister and I had.

Thanks for sharing this. x

I laughed so hard.

My best friend, my brother and I were talking about some of this stuff yesterday. We remembered stories of our youth when we always played outside and caused trouble (good clean fun but some stuff you vowed to take to the grave so your mom would never know). We played Sega and Nintendo but it didn’t run our lives like it does with a lot of today’s kids. It’s so sad. Everytime I see my nephew, his face is always buried in some sort of handheld gaming device. He’s only 8 but in almost all pics you see of him (out to eat, at family events, at home, etc) his face is always down focused on a video game. It’s sad he’s missing out on so much! Oh what it means to be a kid!
