I had help from another bee on the etiquette section and just found this paper section. We both googled this wish card thing and I am still wondering why a wish card exists…. please help. Original post:
I received a “Wedding Wish card” with my invitation and I have no idea what to do with it. It also came with an envelope as well as a stamp to send back to the parents of the bride and groom. Am I suppose to send money back with it? What is the purpose of it? It is something very new to me.
Thanks girls, and boys 🙂

I believe it’s like a guestbook where you would write a wedding wish to the couple. That’s what I came up with on google.

Yeah, I tried google. You got further than me. I just though that is a pretty big expense to send just a card and thought there had to be more to it than just wishing the couple well. Then again, I am a budget bride. First time for everything.
I wonder what they do with all of these cards afterwards.
