YAY! This is what I’ve been wanting to do, just one big ole pizza party!

Did you eat the pizza at the restaurant or at someone’s house?

vistagirl That does sound like fun. If we would have our rehearsal dinner on a Friday instead of a Thursday we would be able to have it in the church’s hall. But we still haven’t decided where. I mean we could have it at a restaurant but it will cost a lot of money or we could have it at a pizzeria or we could have it at my moms and have it catered. I’m not sure yet but Future Father-In-Law has offered to pay and that’s a big relief and a huge gift. I think we will worry about booking the honeymoon first…

@vistagirl – this is more or less exactly what we are doing – a pizza party in the clubhouse of our community… super easy, affordable, and casual.  i am soooo glad to hear you say this was a good idea and worked out well for you.  yay!

congrats on being a “mrs” now!!

Great Idea! We might do a big bbq, we haven’t decided yet.

I’m so glad it worked out great for your guys!  It makes me even more excited about ours; we’re renting a banquet room at a local pizzaria.  We thought it would be fun, and sort of an extension of ourselves, since every Sunday night since we’ve been dating (during football season) we’ve ordered pizza from that joint and crashed in front of the TV 🙂   HURRAY for fun (and EASY!) rehearsals!

So glad this worked out for you!  It sounds like it was a lot of fun.

A big rehearsal party was one of our main wedding goals, and even though it feels like I am planning TWO parties instead of one, I am so excited for it!  It has turned into a big family party and it will be great because I haven’t seen some of my family since I was maybe five years old.  We are having a bbq at a local city building in a park and are making all the food and making our own pies for the pie bar!
