You’re in Texas so you may know this one too.. Fiance wants us to enter to the “Caprice Musik” instrumental by Tum Tum lol.  I have no idea if he is going to get his way or not, but it’s def an upbeat, get the party started kind of beat!

We’re walking in to “So Good” by B.O.B (very appropriate because we’re an international couple, with international careers having a destination wedding). After our initial dances, the first song of the reception will be “Diamonds” by Rhianna.

We will probably be walking out to ‘The Imperial March’ (aka Darth Vader’s theme) from Star Wars. >_>  That, or maybe the Superman Theme.  I have a thing for John Williams epics.  I’m a total geek bride, though.

Ack, and I totally missed what forum this was in.  Hmm, trying to think of other songs, but the only one that comes to mind is “03′ Bonnie and Clyde,” but that’s kind of old.

@lindseyl06:  I [over]analyzed the lyrics for our various songs as well, and I didn’t think of PYT, but if I had, I probably would not have chosen it for the reason you mentioned. At first I wanted Lupe Fiasco’s “Paris, Tokyo” because of the international themes in the chorus but I didn’t feel like the lyrics in the verses said quite what I wanted. Is there another song that embodies you two as a couple? Maybe throw out some ideas and we can help brainstorm some songs?

Of course if u really really wanna do PYT, just freakin’ do it and ignore what I think! lol.

We came in to “Sure Thing” by Miguel. I wish that Jeezy song “I Do” would have been out though, lol.

Admittedly, it was his younger voice, but what about “All The Things You Are” as performed by Michael Jackson?  Or “You Are My Life,” though, admittedly, that’s a slower song, not upbeat at all.

We haven’t decided on our introduction song yet. I am gettng married to a man who isn’t a fan of rap and only really listen’s to R&B from the 90s. I want the song to represent us but can’t really think of an upbeat song that isn’t really rap..I’m not sticking to 90’s music but am having the hardest time thinking of something

Our bridal party entrance song was “Crazy in Love” (Beyonce) and Darling Husband and I came in to “Show me what you got” (Jay Z) . we loved them both
