That’s actually a great point to consider. I hadn’t thought of this…but I need to. I tan almost instantly when I step into the sun. I wonder if a tanning bed or a spray tan could help at all?

I’m really not worried about this. Everyone gets uneven skin tones. I can’t escape that because even through shirts I get a bra tan… oh well.

I am! I wear sunblock everyday and even if I’m just going out to check the mail. I’m light skin to begin with and tan instantly (except for my feet. Mr. Tattoo’s feet are darker than mine and he’s white!!!)

So sunblock it up!

@souliganprincess: sunscreen filters UVA and UVB rays so that you don’t burn. Sunblock blocks them from reaching your skin.
The key is to reapply constantly. Once it dries it’s no longer good.

I’m not AA, but I’ve been trying hard all winter to mellow out my perma-sports-bra-mark by keeping covered up.  I think I might still want some body make-up to keep it from showing up in photos.

I’m nervous about tanning and my makeup no longer matching. All I know is MAC is too damn expensive for that!

I guess I just don’t care about skin tone in general. I absolutely hate foundation and refuse to wear it… even at my wedding. People are trying to convince me to, but I’m not hearing it 🙂

Nah…my dress is strapless and I am not really worried. I don’t usually get tan lines…I usually just evenly darken during the summer months.

@Miss Tattoo: LOL! I LOVE the sun. I usually lay out in my backyard on my blanket for hours at a time. I just can’t get enough.

@JamaicaBride: I am jealous of your even tan! My tan lines last through the winter, seriously.

The nice thing about getting some sun is that it evens out my complexion. I have some dark spots on my cheeks (old acne scars).
