I was reading this and could not pass up the opportunity to share:

1. what’s your wedding date – February 9, 1996

2. how long was your engagement – Maybe 30 days

3. how long have you been dating – 5 months

4. what budget are you trying to stay within – We both were bringing debt into the marriage so we agreed on a Justice of the Peace.

5. and how much stuff are you diy’g? – We did almost all of it. I cooked our cake, picked out our floral stuff, my mom sent me the something old, something new, something borrowed and blue ensemble, a best friend sent money for me to use towards the day that could not be with me. The two places I worked – one gave me a bridal shower and had a money wreath, also gave us an ice-cream cake the night before. We had loads of fun as we watched it come together and not create  extraneous debt.

6. what part of the country are you located in?! Colorado (orig from Louisiana)

Ok, I haven’t been on here for awhile, but better late than never:

@crebre80 – What’s up chicka?   You are priceless.  Thanks for keeping us AA ladies focused and informed.   By The Way, I used to live in Baton Rouge.

@Golden139 – Howdy, my fellow Texan and future esteemed colleague of the bench.

@Trugem – Hey back.   Maybe we need to found a DIY countergroup.  How does PFI (Paying For It) sound?  LOL!!
