I am a simple person and wear very little make up but of course I want to go a little over the top for the wedding. My make up artist is my MOH’s sister and she won’t be flying in until the day before the wedding. We really won’t have time to do a trail. I trust her and her judgement on what looks good on me but she asked me what I like. Naturally, since I don’t wear make up much I was kind of clueless. Here is a pic of me without make up. My hair would be a lot longer for the wedding.
I was looking at something like this but with ighter lips during the ceremony and add some blush for the reception since I am changing my dress.

Wow, that picture you posted is gorgeous. I`d just do a bit lighter eyeliner on the bottom part of the eye, the way they photographed it makes it look good but head on, it might be a big much.

I feel you on not wearing my make-up. What if you showed your MUA pics of your gown & the bm dresses to give her an idea of your wedding vision. Also let her know you’re not into crazy makeup and allow her to work her magic. I had a makeup trial when I asked for very makeup because I didn’t want to look over done but the time I went how and took a picture you could barely see it.
On my actual wedding day, after my MUA did my bm’s face, she changed mine up a bit to look amazing and compliment the girls and it was beautiful!!!

Thanks I do plan on giving my MUA free control n my wedding day look but she wanted a lil guide.

It’s a bit dramatic for a wedding, but with a lighter lip shade, and slightly downplayed eyeliner I think it’ll be beautiful.

It’s a little too dramatic for me, but it would be great with a lighter lip and less lower lid eyeliner. If you’re looking for more sample looks I created a board on pinterest of makeup looks that I love. They’re all women of color, mostly black women, so it’s a lot easier to recreate. http://pinterest.com/moni20/makeup/ Most of the looks are stronger eye, softer lip, so that might be closer to the look you’re going for.
